Their mental abilities were tested using telephone surveys, which tested memory, general knowledge, language proficiency and vocabulary. Scientists also collected data on how much alcohol the study participants drink.
It turned out that all the participants in the experiment drank wine. And those who did it in a small amount (no more than 1.2 liters of drink) showed the best result. Scientists have come to the conclusion that in small proportions, alcohol contained in wine has a positive effect on brain function.
