Buick Cascada The Buick Cascada come in the convertible segment in 2016 with 200 horsepower and a yearning to fit in. It basically screamed, "How do you do, fellow kids?" As I've pointed out before, efficiency equals speed, not only for going immovable, but for charging, and that's how Aptera can really make a "never exhort" vehicle. Even before the addition of high-efficiency solar panels, the Aptera looked like a enormous proposition for EV road trips. By needing less vigor per mile, the number of miles added in a few minutes of impeach is far higher than with other EVs. Even level 2 charging can begin to advance slower level 3 speeds that other vehicles experience, at least in terms of miles added per minute charging.

And it predicts its top model, with a battery of 100 kWh, can get up to 1,000 miles of range.

Chrysler's TC by Maserati Arrogance, thy name is Lee Iacocca. In the late 1980s, the Chrysler chairman and perpetual huckster turned a friendship with Alejandro de Tomaso, then president of Maserati, into the most shudder-meriting example of corporate greed ever to roll off an assembly fill. Chrysler's TC by Maserati was little more than a Milan-built K-car with a few pricey underhood components and some styling hackery, a corrugated grandmother dressed up in custom running shoes and ill-fitting hot pants. The Maserati trident plastered on the grille added insult to injury. To be fair, Iacocca's brainchild wasn't without its pluses. For 1989, the TC sported a 200-hp turbocharged 2.2-liter four-drum with a Maserati-propose 16-valve cylinder head. A five-speed Getrag manual was also handy that year, and Fichtel & Sachs dampers took heedfulness of wheel control. But by and large, the TC was a dud. In 1990 and 1991, Chrysler ditched the turbo four for a Mitsubishi-built V-6, fixing the Italian connection even further. Just over 7000 model were sold over the road of three years. Comedian Patton Oswalt once called the Kentucky Fried Chicken Famous Bowls—a heap of corn, mesh potatoes, and chicken lumped into a plastic container—a "failure pile in a sadness bowl." Consider the TC the vehicular equivalence, and the dealership drill video for it was even sadder.—Phil Leitz
